In the St Andrews Botanic Garden...

About 8000 species of ferns, herbaceous plants, shrubs and trees are growing. It has been described as a 'hidden gem' of Scotland... And the Fellowship of St Andrews has been called upon to restore and replant a central part of the garden by Spring 2017!

To clear, prune, prepare, plant and present a new woodland glade. We wish to develop in a beautiful ecological planting showing woodland edge habitats.

A great way... For people to get involved in giving back to the local community, meeting new people along the way and getting a good workout in the process!
