The St Andrews Storehouse is...

A foodbank serving the most vulnerable people in our community of NE Fife.  Although the St Andrews area appears affluent, a report ‘End Child Poverty’ published in October found that when housing costs are taken into account, 24.8% of children in St Andrews are living in poverty.  This is the same as the figure for the whole of Fife.

Our partnership with Storehouse began in September 2016. We encourage our volunteers to take part in the Tuesday and Thursday morning drop-in sessions regularly.

We have set out to raise food donations in creative ways through our student for student events, starting November 2016 and, as a culminating point, we will help the dispatching of all these donations by helping organise the Christmas giveaway in December 2016.
